Announcing the Summer 2026 Class of Science and Technology Policy Fellows

We’re thrilled to announce the 15 members of our 2026 Science and Technology Policy Fellowship. These Fellows are currently in San Francisco for the third week of our intensive, month-long policy bootcamp. Together, they are learning the foundational skills to drive policy impact, meeting leaders in the policy space, and exchanging ideas across their ranging areas of expertise. From startup founders to academics, each Fellow has brought a unique point of view to the cohort and our broader Academy community.

The 2026 Science and Technology Policy Fellows are:

  • Alicia Chen, Psychotherapist and software engineer
  • Alexandra Gonzalez, PhD student in Information Science at Cornell University
  • Will Hines, Product leader advancing rewilding and responsible AI; Advisor at Out Leadership
  • Bianca J. Jackson, Founder and CEO of BrickRose Exchange
  • Amin Khodaei, Co-founder and CEO of Gridient
  • Tiffani Martin, Founder and CEO of VisioTech
  • Amy Mok, Founder and Leadership & Executive Coach at Recode Leadership LLC; engineering leader
  • Rebecca Odim, Fractional Product Leader at BexOdim; Product Lead of BioCircular Valley
  • Manisha Priyadarshini, Executive Director at ProgramEarth
  • Mohammad Radiyat, Staff Data Scientist at DonorsChoose
  • Christian Servin, Education Research Developer and Professor of Computer Science & ITS at El Paso Community College
  • Venita Subramanian, Principal Product Design Lead at Microsoft 
  • Alice Tan, Software Engineer at Amazon
  • Jenny Tang, PhD student in Societal Computing at Carnegie Mellon University

The Fellowship’s momentum will continue next week, as the cohort meets in person with government leaders at San Francisco City Hall and creates real-world policy proposals during a 48-hour sprint. The cohort will also soon embark on creating Academy supported final projects that delve deeper into the specific policies that matter to them.
