Venita Subramanian is a Principal UX Design Lead at Microsoft Security, where she leads design for enterprise security, identity, and responsible AI products. She also leads Secure by Design, a cross-company initiative that helps product teams across Microsoft build security into their products from the start. Previously, Venita built design and product experiences at Amazon, Fidelity Investments, and several technology startups, with a focus on translating complex technical systems into experiences people can understand and trust. Venita holds a bachelor’s degree in visual communications and a master’s in international communications. Outside of work, she’s a visual artist and a mom to a curious two-year-old who is teaching her to slow down and see the world with fresh eyes.
