San Francisco, CA – We are pleased to release our 2025 Annual Report, which summarizes the Aspen Policy Academy’s accomplishments from our 7th year in operation and looks ahead to our plans for the future.

In 2025, we:

Saw a record-breaking number of people – 10,500 – register for our programming, from our public webinars to short courses to core programs like the Fellowship and Policy Primer.
Hosted a record 46 training opportunities, including debuting new courses like Rising Civic AI Leaders, the Environmental Policy Accelerator, and Building Nonprofit Advocacy Capacity.
Launched our Civic Engagement programming pillar to help everyday people push for change in their communities, with trainings such as How To Tell Governments What You Think and our actionable guide, Getting Through To Governments.
Brought on former Mayors London Breed (D-San Francisco, CA) and G.T. Bynum (R-Tulsa, OK) to give our students a sense of what policy really looks like.
Supported our alumni in having real policy impact, from contributing to a new Utah law on data center water use transparency to convincing New York City to adopt their artificial intelligence guidance recommendations.
Celebrated alumni who have stepped into vital policy roles, such as Meghan Cochran becoming the director of digital services at the Federal Emergency Management Agency and Asha Keddy becoming vice president of global technology standards at Cisco Systems.

In 2026, we plan to deepen and expand our reach—significantly growing our work in civic engagement, launching new policy accelerators for veterans and place-based communities, and continuing our flagship fellowships for subject-matter experts and senior technology leaders.
