Register Now for Action and Impact: Shaping the Future of Climate and Science Policy

In conjunction with the official launch of the Aspen Policy Academy, the Academy is hosting Action and Impact, a multi-city event series on pressing policy topics. Read below for more information on the Los Angeles event and to register!

The fourth Action and Impact event takes place in Los Angeles on December 12th from 4-7pm at Emerson College LA (5960 Sunset Blvd).

This event will focus on how individuals and nonprofit organizations can get involved to drive climate policy. Join the Policy Academy for an expert panel, including:

  • Marta Segura, Chief Heat Officer for the City of Los Angeles
  • Leah Thomas, author of The Intersectional Environmentalist
  • Robert Lempert, professor and Director of Longer Range Global Policy and the Future Human Condition at RAND
  • Tracy Quinn, President and CEO of Heal the Bay
  • Rosanna Xia, environmental reporter at the Los Angeles Times (Moderating)

The event will also feature policy presentations from Aspen alumni who have created an impact in their organizations and communities, a networking reception, and more!
