Apply Now for the 2026 Building Nonprofit Advocacy Capacity Short Course

Applications are open for our second Building Nonprofit Advocacy Capacity short course. We welcome applications from all US-based organizations working in the public interest – such as nonprofits, direct services providers, or university and research centers – who want to grow their policy and advocacy capabilities.

This free, virtual, and part-time training will help participating organizations devise policy advocacy strategies from the ground up. The curriculum will cover key topics such as identifying policy goals, navigating the evolving regulatory environment, and strategies for serving as effective experts in court and Congress.

Important information and dates:

  • The course will take place daily from 9-11am PT / 12-2pm ET from May 11 to May 15, 2026.
  • The application deadline is Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 11:59pm PT.
  • Participants will be admitted in late April.
