The Aspen Institute’s Tech Policy Hub invites you to join our virtual Nonprofit and Public Interest Demonstration Day on January 18, 2024 from 3:00-4:00pm ET/ 12:00-1:00pm PT. The webinar will feature policy projects and case studies on technology, environmental, and social justice topics from our inaugural cohort of nonprofit fellows. Kumar Garg, the powerhouse behind partnerships at Schmidt Futures and former leader in the Obama administration’s White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), will provide keynote remarks.

Members of the Nonprofit and Public Interest Fellowship class will present their policy solutions to issues like identifying misinformation in social media and improving the interoperability of med-tech devices. Fellows will also share their personal insights on how the fellowship affected their nonprofit’s ability to impact policy.

Our inaugural Summer 2023 Nonprofit and Public Interest Fellowship program provided nonprofit leaders with 3 weeks of policy skills-building initiatives and 3 months of policy project support.
