Parimala Rao
Parimala Rao is the Chief Technology Officer of uShip Inc. She previously served as the Chief Technology Officer of Sparkfund, as Senior Vice President for Technology of SL Green, and as Executive Director of Technology at The New York Times, where she was awarded the Publisher Award. Parimala has also held senior leadership and management roles at companies including Google, Microsoft, and IBM. She has a Master’s in Software Engineering from The University of Liverpool and a Master’s in Biotechnology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University, India. Her passions are using data to solve complex real-world problems and enhancing cybersecurity.
