Jaida Nabayan
Jaida Nabayan is an Associate at James Lima Planning + Development, consulting on projects related to equitable planning and economic analysis. Concurrently, Jaida is obtaining her master’s in Urban Planning from Harvard University, where she is interested in tackling the intersection of climate-resilience and environmental injustices to create equitable cities for Black and Latinx folks. Prior to graduate school, Jaida worked at Mesirow Financial as an investment management analyst in the real estate division, helping to build out ESG metric systems for the portfolio properties. Jaida has worked at Earthjustice, Techstars Chicago, LuminAID, and the City of Chicago over the course of her career. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago in Environmental and Urban Studies. In her spare time, Jaida enjoys swimming at the beach, writing poetry, and trying new curly hair products.
