Alex Rosenblat
Author of Uberland: How Algorithms Are Rewriting the Rules of Work. As a technology ethnographer and a Research Lead at the Data & Society Research Institute, she studies how the claims made by platforms align with the lived experiences of gig workers. Published in leading academic journals, her work is covered widely in the press, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the BBC. Her writing has appeared in media outlets such as the New York Times and the Harvard Business Review. She holds an M.A. in Sociology from Queen’s University and a B.A. in History from McGill University.
