Roby Chatterji

Roby Chatterji is a Policy Advisor at the Aspen Policy Academy. He has over a decade of experience in the education policy field—including experience working as a Congressional staffer on the Committee for Education and the Workforce in the US House of Representatives, as a researcher and advocate at national think tanks, as an educational lobbyist, as a consultant for education technology companies, and as staff at a federal agency working on improving broadband access for students across the country. Roby started his career as a 5th grade public school teacher in Phoenix, AZ, and has also taught internationally in Cusco, Peru. Roby holds a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law, a MEd in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, and a BA in Political Science and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Some of his favorite things to do in his free time include playing guitar and singing at open mic events, cooking up fusion food, and working on his balance in hot yoga.
