Marcelo Yates

About Marcelo

Marcelo Yates is a Backend Engineer at Indeed. Previously, Marcelo worked as an Account Executive at Social Solutions (now Bonterra), where he provided software and services to support social impact organizations, including nonprofits and corporations. Marcelo has a bachelor’s degree in Global Business from the University of Texas at Dallas. In his current role, Marcelo leads the design, development, and management of backend processes, with a focus on building and maintaining robust API infrastructures using Flask and SQLAlchemy. He is also expanding his expertise by working on training large language models. In his spare time, he is an avid photographer who loves to push the boundaries of what cameras can do, capturing unique moments during his travels.
