Julia Lane

About Julia

Julia Lane is the Assistant Vice President for Science at the University of Chicago and serves as the Federal Strategy Advisor at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park. Previously, she was the founding Executive Director of Research Strategy at the Data Science Institute. She holds a BA in International Relations and Comparative Politics from the American University of Paris and an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago’s Committee on International Relations. In 2024, she was recognized as an Emerging Leader by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. This summer, she will be swimming from Europe to Asia.
