Hande Güven

About Hande

Hande Güven is a Senior Security Researcher at Microsoft, where she tracks and analyzes advanced cyber threats impacting Microsoft. Previously, she was a team lead and senior threat intelligence analyst on Recorded Future’s Advanced Cybercrime and Engagements (ACE) team, with a focus on the cybercrime economy, dark web communities, and emerging technologies. Her published work includes research on generative AI in cybercrime, regional dark web activity, and the use of threat intelligence to combat human trafficking. Hande has spoken at leading conferences, including RSA Conference and NCFTA’s Disruption. Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, she holds an International Relations degree from Tufts University and volunteers with Bellingcat, contributing to open-source investigations.
