Bianca Lepe

About Bianca

Bianca Lepe is a Data Scientist at the City of Boston where she builds advanced analytics tools, like machine learning models, to support data-informed decision making across City departments. Before joining the City, Bianca earned a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering from MIT, where her research focused on computational vaccine design for tuberculosis. As a Marshall Scholar, Bianca earned an MSc in Systems Biology from the University of Edinburgh and an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge. She also holds a B.S. in Biological Engineering and Business from Caltech. In her free time, you can find Bianca reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, experimenting with new crafts, or planning her next trip with a deep dive into local history and cuisine.
