Aaron Garber-Paul

About Aaron

Aaron Garber-Paul (he/they) is the Equity Data & Policy Analyst with the City of Portland, Oregon, Office of Equity & Human Rights, where he serves on the Title VI Civil Rights team, and advises on citywide policy related to Data Privacy, Surveillance, Automated Decision-Making Technology, AI and Gen AI. He is a current member of the Pride in Numbers project, Research & Data committee. Previously, Aaron held roles at KitBash3D and Simple Finance. Aaron’s educational background includes a BA in Sociology from Barnard College, Columbia University; study at Goldsmith’s College, London University; and advanced studies in Data Analytics & Programming with the University of Oregon. Outside of work, Aaron is most at home in the theater, where he is recognized for his work as a costume designer.
