Apply Now for the 2026 Environmental Policy Accelerator

Applications are now open for the second cohort of our Environmental Policy Accelerator program. If you have an idea for solving an environmental problem and want help turning it into real policy change, this program is for you. Over 6 sessions, participants will workshop and refine their solution with direct feedback from Academy instructors and peers, while also learning our core framework for achieving policy impact.

Graduates will leave with a concrete environmental policy solution, a set of polished policy outputs, and an advocacy plan ready to put in front of a decisionmaker.

Important information and dates:

The Program:

Virtual, part-time, and free.
Sessions run 9-11am PT / 12-2pm ET on: July 14, July 28, August 11, August 25, September 29, and November 3.
Participants should expect to spend 8-10 hours a week outside of class time completing readings and assignments.

The Application:

Deadline: Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 11:59pm PT
Qualified applicants are subject-matter experts on environmental issues, such as environmental engineers, environmental tech start-up founders, environmental policy communications professionals, or community members advocating for a specific environmental policy change in their local municipality.
You may apply as an individual or in teams of up to 4.
