Announcing our New Interim Director, Jessica Cole

  • Article Published July 14, 2023

We are delighted to announce our Winter 2020 Fellowship Alum, Jessica Cole, is returning to the Hub as Interim Director! Jessica will help lead the Hub team this fall while our Director, Betsy Cooper, is out on maternity leave. We are thrilled to have Jessica join us in a leadership role.

“The work of the Hub to build policy capacity, and to bring technology experts to bear on our biggest policy questions, has never been so important,” says Jessica. “I’m thrilled to come full circle and steward the Hub as Interim Director and to join a stellar team and growing community of supporters, partners, fellows, and alumni.”

Jessica is the co-founder and former CEO of U.S. Digital Response, a tech nonprofit that enables governments to keep up with their communities’ most critical needs, now and in the future. Previously, she served as a Fellow with Code for America and in local government as the Head of Innovation and Economic Development for the City of Walnut Creek, CA. Jessica graduated with a degree in Urban Studies from Yale University. She has also written over one million words in Morning Pages.
