Remote Immigration Interview System

This project recommends that the United States Citizenship and Immigrations Services (USCIS) should expand the use of video-technology interviews across its offices to even caseloads and alleviate difficulties in hiring and training new employees in talent-scare locations. It proposes a 3-phased approach to expand existing video-conferencing technology use within USCIS for longterm agency-wide adoption. A phase approach would minimize disruption during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis while increasing flexibility to meet applicant demand.

This project was completed as part of the 2020 Tech Executive Leadership Initiative (TELI) hosted in conjunction with the Tech Talent Project. You can learn more about TELI here.
