Announcing the Winter 2026 Savilla Pitt Fellowship Recipient: Ayzit Doydum

  • Article Published March 9, 2026

The Aspen Policy Academy is delighted to announce that Ayzit Doydum has been selected as the Savilla Pitt Memorial Fellow from the Winter 2026 Tech Executive Leadership Initiative (TELI) cohort

The Academy and Aspen Digital present the Memorial Fellowship to a member of each core Academy cohort who embodies the selflessness and generosity of spirit of our late colleague Savilla Pitt.

Ayzit’s TELI peers chose her for the Memorial Fellowship, citing her consistent willingness to help her colleagues and support their learning. According to one of her fellow TELI Leaders, “She made sure everyone in the group felt involved and supported. She was not usually the loudest in the room, but her presence was felt.”

Ayzit is currently a senior UX and market researcher, with experience spanning the fintech and healthtech spaces. She has a background in cognitive neuroscience and volunteers as a UX researcher with US Digital Response. As part of her Memorial Fellowship, Ayzit will receive a paid trip to Washington, DC to meet with leaders within the Aspen Institute and government about her policy interests.

The Memorial Fellowship honors Savilla Pitt, the first employee of the Academy’s predecessor, the Aspen Tech Policy Hub, and a core member of the Aspen Digital team. Savilla passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2021. She played a crucial role in launching the Hub, and more importantly, she was a beloved friend. The Academy and Aspen Digital teams are proud to continue her legacy by supporting compassionate Leaders like Ayzit.
