About Lisa

Lisa Dubow is a Bay Area–based strategic design researcher and product innovation leader with over a decade of experience across corporate design studios and innovation consulting firms. She draws on human-centered research methods, from ethnography to prototyping, to ground design in lived experience. Most recently, Lisa worked at Samsung Design & Innovation Center and Ford Motor Company’s human-centered design lab, where she bridged user insight with connected services and product solutions.

Motivated by a growing interest in ethical technology and public-interest design, Lisa is currently returning to academia through Northwestern University’s Tech, People, and Policy graduate certificate program, which explores the intersections of emerging technologies, human behavior, and governance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.

In her free time, Lisa can usually be found hiking through the redwoods, wandering San Francisco with her wire-haired Jack Russell, or squeezing in live music whenever she can.
