Jessica Wang is a software engineer interested in how design can improve civic tech and policy outcomes. She has experience in Silicon Valley ranging from early-stage startups to big tech. Previously, Jessica built collaborative design software and led engineering teams at Figma, was a deputy data director on the Harris campaign in GA, studied US-China relations, and researched online news consumption in the face of misinformation and algorithmic bias. She holds a BS and MEng in computer science and engineering from MIT and was a Schwarzman scholar at Tsinghua University. Outside of work, Jessica loves all things design, shooting film photography, and learning about traditional tea culture.
