Anand Habib

About Anand

Anand Habib is a practicing internal medicine doctor and will be joining the University of California San Francisco as a physician-researcher faculty in August 2025. Anand has previously served as a summer research intern with Partners in Health/Zanmi Lasante in Haiti, an Albert Schweitzer Fellow in community health in Boston, and a National Clinician Scholar in health policy at Yale University. Anand has an MD from Harvard and earned an MPhil in Medical Anthropology from the University of Oxford. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking Indian food with his partner, visiting National Parks (23 so far), and reading books (100 since 2023).
