Apply Now: Rising Civic AI Leaders Program

We’re thrilled to announce that the application is open for our Rising Civic AI Leaders program. This program, hosted in partnership with Aspen Digital, will provide AI and emerging technology professionals new to government with the skills needed to make policy impact and navigate AI in the workplace.

Participants will acquire concrete skills they can apply in their new government roles while building a community of individuals passionate about shaping AI policy. 

Important information and dates:

  • The program is unpaid and will run part-time, virtually from September 18-November 20, 2025
  • Applications are due at 11:59pm PT on Monday, June 23
  • Applicants must be 21 or older, US-based, currently working in government or are applying for government roles, and have some experience with AI or emerging technologies

An ideal candidate for this program might be a city’s chief AI officer, a state agency representative responsible for AI at their agency, or a city’s director of emerging technology. Learn more and apply for the Rising Civic AI Leaders program here.
