Aspen Digital Launches Virtual Training Program to Create Cybersecurity Advocates for Driving Community Engagement

The Aspen Policy Academy is starting a virtual program to educate individuals on becoming cybersecurity advocates in their communities through an initiative funded by philanthropist Craig Newmark.

The initiative, Cyber Civic Engagement, will “teach people, regardless of their technical aptitude, how to protect and advocate for stronger cybersecurity in their own communities,” according to an Oct. 6 release from Aspen Digital. The Aspen Policy Academy is an initiative under Aspen Digital.
